MI District Courts for Driver’s License Cases

Michigan Circuit Courts

The Michigan Circuit Courts, along with appeals from other court divisions, will handle felony criminal cases. Grabel & Associates has experience working in circuit courts throughout MI counties including Kent, Wayne, Oakland, Kalamazoo, Jackson, and Macomb county circuit courts.

If you lose your DAAD hearing, you can appeal the decision to the Michigan Circuit Court. It is very difficult to overturn a DAAD/DLAD hearing loss, and it is important to contact a skilled attorney before taking any action. Our driver’s license restoration lawyers will help you win your initial hearing, or work with you to develop an improved legal strategy after you lose your hearing with inadequate representation.

There are 57 total circuit courts in Michigan. To find a circuit court in your area, view a complete list online. If you have yet to face a hearings officer, it isn’t too late to hire an experienced driver’s license restoration lawyer. Avoid circuit court and the difficult appeal process by working with Grabel & Associates. If you are facing a felony motor vehicle charge or any other criminal charge our lawyers will defend you in any Michigan Circuit Court statewide.

Please note: Recently DLAD/DAAD changed their name to the Administrative Hearings Section (AHS). Common use of the name AHS has not yet been widely accepted and the entity responsible for driver’s license hearings is still referred to as DLAD/DAAD in almost all legal areas, which is why we continue to use the term “DLAD/DAAD” throughout our website. More information about this change can be found at the Michigan Secretary of State’s website here.
