If you are caught in possession of between 50 and 450 grams you could face up to 20 years in prison and up to a quarter of a million dollars in fines. Any amount between 450 grams and 1 kilogram could land you in prison for 30 years, in addition to a fine of as much as half a million dollars. If you possess over 1 kilogram of cocaine in, you could be imprisoned for life and face a fine of up to a million dollars.
